Mariline visited the space, listened to the ideas I presented and the needs of
Choice's workspace organization. I told her I wanted a clear, simple, beautiful space with a vertical garden, making the most of some elements that already existed in the space so as not to make the project too expensive.
It went very well because the suggestions she made were fantastic and the 3D helped me visualize the future space. I then delegated the coordination of the work to her and it was a no-brainer. I needed to do a mini-refurbishment of the kitchen in an apartment that I had been renting out. The furniture was already more than 25 years old when I rented it and the use of the tenants who had been there for 5 years ended up making it impractical. Conclusion: in order to rent again, I needed everything replaced quickly.
I was recommended Mariline's services. I confess I was suspicious at first. I thought, "I don't need a designer. I need a kitchen company." I also thought "Why am I going to pay to have a drawing made?" But the recommendation came from people I trusted. And they know a lot more about these things than I do. So I decided to trust her and hired her services.
It was the best thing I ever did! Mariline is not "just" a designer. Mariline is a Supervisor. A real Project Manager. I didn't have to worry about a thing (apart from payment, of course).
Mariline took care of the design. She dealt with the budget with the kitchen furniture company. She arranged the quote for the appliances. She budgeted for the installation of the appliances. She presented two versions: one cheaper and one of better quality, for me to choose from.
Once I had given the go-ahead, she supervised everything. Mariline was there whenever someone needed to go to the apartment to measure or install something.
The work progressed quickly. It turned out much better than I expected.
I suspect that if I had decided to take care of everything, I would still be waiting for quotes right now. I would have wasted hours chasing contractors. And when it was finally done, it would probably be bad.
There's no doubt about it. When I need a makeover, whatever it is, I'll get in touch with Mariline.
