House Sarilhos Pequenos

"Modern and welcoming"

The main objective of this project was balanced, simple and functional decoration. The use of natural and light materials was a special request from our client.

The interior social area of this villa is a large, very bright space consisting of a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a toilet and a laundry room. The villa also has an outdoor social area with a barbecue, dining area and sitting area.

The basic decoration was done in neutral tones to which we added decorative elements that bring color to the room. Materials such as natural wood, straw, wicker and matt lacquer are predominant in the various rooms.

We designed the kitchen and the artificial lighting throughout the house. With regard to the kitchen, we complemented functionality and aesthetics to make this space harmonious. As for the artificial lighting, various circuits were created to serve different purposes and different light temperatures were chosen.

We also designed a closet for the entrance to the house, which is used to store coats, bags and everyday shoes, with the aim of organizing the space. We made all the curtains in the house and opted for light, translucent fabrics to make the most of the natural light. The curtains were made using the perfect wave technique and from wall to wall to give a feeling of spaciousness.

In the living room, we used a decorative Venetian plaster with an "apricot" effect, which gives the back wall a velvety texture. The texture and subtle shine of this material gave the room an enormous richness.

In the private part of the house, we intervened in all the bedrooms. In the residents' rooms we used wallpaper with a textured effect, which promotes comfort and harmony. In the guest room, we opted for wood paneling painted light sage green.

The attic of the house was also the subject of our intervention. We transformed this space into a living and reading area. The decor is modern and minimalist, creating a welcoming and relaxing space.
